How to use after eight mint in cooking
How you use it in after eight mint recipes depends on the type of recipe.
The first stage is to remove the leaves from the stems, then you:
- Either simply rub them to release the flavour – when making cocktails or drinks like tea
- Or chop them into small bits when used in sauces or meal recipes.
- Follow the links above for more detail.
Very easy to grow at home
It is very easy to grow but will grow very fast. The picture above shows a after eight mint plant which was had grown to a ‘harvesting’ stage in only 2 months, from a plug plant planted in a pot in the garden.
- This mint prefers direct sunlight or partial shade and a well drained soil. Please note that mint does tend to grow very fast, which is great if you want to use it in recipes.
