Germidour garlic roast salmon
Because garlic matters…
Roast salmon is a very easy meal to make, with lots of flavour & taste.
But the garlic you use will have a major effect on the flavour.
Germidour garlic is ideal for use in recipes where you want to balance the garlic flavour with other flavours – like salmon, lemon, etc.

Why use Germidour garlic?
The picture shows ‘regular’ garlic (on the left) next to Germidour garlic on the right.
The beauty of Germidour garlic is that it has a much more mild and sweet garlic flavour than regular garlic.
This type of garlic tends to be larger and great for many recipes. However it is not often found in food supermarkets.
However…
You can buy it on Amazon, garden centres or sometimes local farmer markets.
The garlic sold is often labelled ‘for planting’ but works just as well when used in cooking.
On the other hand this garlic is very easy to grow and growing your own will provide you lots for use in cooking.
Oregano, Thyme, etc.
In the recipe I’ve used oregano, mainly because it adds a lovely extra flavour. On the other hand herbs like Thyme or even Basil will work just a well.
What to serve with Germidour garlic roast salmon
You will have lots of options. In the picture I served it with crispy potatoes & peas but it also goes with baby new potatoes & salad.
